Lee D. Lybarger, 84, of El Dorado, died on November 25, 2015 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born October 19, 1931 in El Dorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence Cobb Lybarger and Lee Lybarger, one sister, Patricia Carmichael.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy S. Lybarger; sisters, Delores Judd and Carol Carrick, one brother H. Lybarger. Also surviving are his nephews, Keith, Kevin, and Kenneth Alderson, Wes Lybarger and niece, Robin Leal.
He held a B.A. degree from Southern State University and a M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He was employed by Murphy Oil Corporation for 40 years, retiring as a Senior Accountant. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School teacher and a deacon. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958.
Visitation will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 2:00pm with funeral services at 3:00pm. Bro. Ron Sanders will be officiating. There will be a private family grave side service following at Arlington.
Member of the Disciples Sunday School Class will be active and honorary pall bearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to Immanuel Baptist Church Library or Building Fund, 701 South West Avenue, El Dorado.
