Obituary

Lillie M. Darden Clift, 87, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

She was born June 9, 1927, in El Dorado, Ar. to William Louis Darden and Mollie Jane Darden. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She worked at Lees' Dairy Diner for several years. She loved collecting frogs, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a prayer warrior. She was proceeded in death by her husband M.J. Clift, her parents, two daughters, Elizabeth A. Murry and Judy McInvale, two sons William Bruce Goff and Gary Clift, one sister Martha Ann Johnson (Darryl Johnson), one brother Bobby Darden and her beloved four legged friend, Tuffy.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Gulledge (Ronnie), Mary Helen Burges (Fred), two sisters Geneva Pierce (Charles), Elvaretta Burchfield and one brother Jerry Darden (Melba), grandchildren, Benny Murry Jr. (Rhonda), Ashley Murry (Renee), Shantel Burns (Brian), Margie McIntyre (Shawn), Jackie Walker (Chris), Bruce Allen Goff (Maggie), Karen Dison, Kenneth McInvale, Billy Gulledge (Naomi), Brandon Gulledge (Candace), Michael Clift (Monica), Kristen Goode (Spc. James), Stacy Benson, Jamie Arnold and Amy McInvale. Great-grandchildren, Jessica Ricker (John). Sgt. Jared E. Murry, United States Army, Courtney Dopson, Sydney Donahue, Grace Murry, Destiny Burns, Ryan Burns, Colton Thomason, Tyler Thomason (fiancé Tamara), Kaylie Walker, Alex Walker, PV2 Justin Goff (Britny), Blake Goff, Amber Dison, Hannah Dison, Breanna McInvale, Finley Gulledge, Liam Gulledge, Joseph "Tyler" Gulledge, Joshua Gulledge, Kaidynce Gulledge, Memoree Gulledge, Ayden Clift, Alex Yepez, Riley Goode, Maddison Goode, Jacie Benson, Emily Arnold, and Preston Conger. Great-great grandchildren, Layden Feeman, Allie Goff and Michael Cash is on his way. Also survived by her special friend and caregiver, Annie, one son-in-law, Benny Murry Sr. (Teresa) and one daughter-in-law, Sue Maness (Sterling) and several nieces and nephew. Lillie also kept and raised a numerous amount of children who also call her Mamaw.

A special Thank you to the CVICU nurses but most especially to Scott and Tim for their great care of our Mother and Mamaw. Thank you to the person who left the note and picture on the door.

There will be a celebration of her life Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Galilee Baptist Church at 2pm under Tommy Mellinger officating. There will be visitation with family following the service.
