Lilly Verneil Qualls Goodman 85, of El Dorado, left her temporary home on earth to join her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 19 2012.
Verneil had a wonderful love for life, spending many of her most treasured hours talking about shared interests in genealogy, history and reading with her friends and family.
She was a faithful member of the Order of Eastern Star, El Dorado Chapter # 280.

Verneil began life in Detroit, Michigan, but came to Arkansas at age 4. She graduated from Evening Shade High School and spent 4 years in Nursing School at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, Ar. as an Army Cadet Nurse, completing all this by the age 20.

Preceding her in death is her beloved husband of 36 years, Olin, as well as her dear son; Mark Daniel, her parents; Eldon and Christine Smalley Qualls, and brothers; Buddy and Frank and sister Rita.

Survivors include two sons; Michael (Diane) Goodman of El Dorado, Steve Goodman of Trumann, Ar., two daughters; Sharon (Jerry) Reid of Bolivar, TN. and Sue Goodman of El Dorado, two brothers Bill Qualls and Dane "Buck" Qualls and two sisters; Jackie Scalph and Lorenda Meredith.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Dumas Memorial Methodist Church with Pat Daugherty officiating and Silvia Nosic co officiating under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

Burial will be held Thursday February 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
