Lissie E. Massey, 63, of Strong passed away Friday July 15, 2016 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Lissie was born October 22, 1952 to the late William Alvie Keaster and tRuth Dean Logan Keaster. Lissie was a life long member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She worked for Medical Center of South Arkansas for 19 years as a Patient Care Tech. She loved worshiping her Lord and Savior, enjoyed trips with her church family, brother and sister days were spent with her brothers and sisters , which was one of the highlights of her life. She also loved road tips to estate and garage sales with her two sister in laws, Martha Jane and Diane, as well as spending time with her great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband of 43 years, Wayne Massey;
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa "Tess" Wooten (Greg) and Melissa French; one son, Jonathan Massey; three grandchildren, Blake Wooten, Kaitlyn French and Logan French; three great grandchildren, Chanler Rodgers, Ava Ward and one on the way; three sisters, Gladys Taylor, Gracie Webb (John) and Virginia Jones; two brothers, Alvie Keaster (Linda), Louis Keaster as well as a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 16 from 6 - 8pm at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Services will also be held at the church on July 17 at 2pm with Bro. Blake Wooten and Bro. Danny Malone.
Interment will follow at Green Grove Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels..
Family will be at 6804 Strong Hwy, Strong, AR 71765.
