Obituary
Lonnie "Billy" Smith, 85, of El Dorado, AR., passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.
Billy was born August 5, 1932 to the late Lonnie Charles Smith and Diamon Burnside Smith.
He was a retired general building contractor, architect and draftsman. He built many houses, apartments and churches in and around El Dorado, southern California, Houston, TX. Billy was also a member of Cross Life Church.
Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Michael Smith; daughter, Beverly Sinclair; sister, Eva Vestal and his brothers, Charles and Paul Smith .
His survivors include his wife of 67 years, Agnes Smith; his daughter, Angela Thurmon (Donnie), three grandsons, Jeremy Ezell (Sarah), Derek Smith, Mark Risinger (Sarah); two granddaughters, Katrina Brantley (Chris) and Vanessa Risinger as well as five great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at 3pm Tuesday, November 14 at Cannan Cemetery in Lockhart, LA. A visitation will start at 2pm prior to the service, all under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels
