Lorene Lewis Thurman, 75, of Louann and formerly of Mt. Holly, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.

She was born December 4,1934 in Grant County, AR, to Jesse Clarence Holloway and Florence Etta Ramsey Holloway. She loved her grandchildren and family. She also loved working in her yard and mowing the grass. She was a member of Louann Baptist Church.

Lorene is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband William Bill Lewis, two sisters; Helen Williams, and Earlene Birchfield and a brother Doyle Holloway.

Lorene is survived by her loving husband Earl Thurman of Louann and formerly of Urbana; two daughters; Billie Wice (Bob) of Cabot, and Gail Beddingfield (Jerry) of El Dorado, a son; Richard Lewis of Mt Holly. Six grand children; Bryan Garriga of Pangburn, AR, Jason Garriga of Bryant, AR; Houston Vaughn-Dunn (Connie) and Adriane Vaughn-Dunn all of El Dorado;
Amber Taylor (Weston) of Village, AR; Jessica Lewis of Mt Holly and three great grandchildren; Hunter Garriga, Alex Vaughn-Dunn, Leanna Taylor. Two sisters Ruby Barbaree of Norphlet,; Betty Hogg of El Dorado, and a brother Roy Lee Holloway of Spearsville, LA; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 2:00PM at Mt Holly Community Church with Bro. Robert Thornton and Bro. Jimmy Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Holly Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

Seving as pallbeares will be nephews; Mike Holloway, Chris Holloway, James Allen Williams,
Terry Watson, John Deaton, and Mac Hobbs.
