Mamie Sue Fife, 62, of Oak Ridge Nursing Home and formerly of Strong, Arkansas, died Sunday November 30, 2008 at The Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born February 25, 1946 in Strong and is the daughter of Thad Fife and Cordie Agerton Fife. Her enjoyment in life was crocheting, fishing and camping on the Ouachita river before her health wouldn't allow her to do so.` She was of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Jewel Fife, James Fife, and Bill Fife.

She leaves behind her sister and brother; Katie Perry , and Sam Fife and wife Virginia all of Strong, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will dearly miss her.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday December 2, 2008 at Perry's Funeral Chapels in Strong with Rev. Ricky Smith officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6:00pm til 8:00pm Monday December 1, 2008 at the funeral home.
