Marda Marie Harper Jones of El Dorado, died Tuesday August 13, 2013 at John R. Williamson Hospice House after a lengthy illness. She was born March 2, 1936 to Howard and Wilma Harper of Pittsburgh, PA.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Delmas C. Jones; their four children, and their spouses and children; Danny and wife Clara and children Dawson and wife Laurel, Corrie, Hudson and wife Kari, Susannah, Hannah, Emily, Elliot, and Kristina of Little Rock; Steve and Paula and sons, Stephen, Samuel, Solomon, and Seth of Des Moines, Iowa; Jonathan and Marie and their children, Benjamin, Seth, Maddie and Harrison of Raymore, Missouri; Karen and Troy Caldwell and children Morgan and Chase of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; one sister Ruth Wiedley and husband Frank of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and two nieces and their families.

A viewing will be at Marrable Hill Chapel on Thursday, August 15 from 6-8 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at Marrable Hill Chapel on Friday, August 16 at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels. Leading the service will be sons, Danny, Steve and Jonathan with Ben Wasson, pastor of Marrable Hill Chapel and former pastor Sam Shepperson assisting with burial to follow at Old Hillsboro Cemetery on Old Hillsboro Rd.

The family request please no flowers but memorials be sent to John R. Williamson Hospice House.
