Margaret Bussey, 84, passed into the arms of The Lord, Wednesday, October 22, 2014. She was born Gina Margaret Pyron, October 26, 1929, the only daughter of Jarvis and Velma Pyron.
During the course of her lifetime, along with her husband , Charles, she owned and operated Bussey's Garage, Bussey's Exxon, Reflections Hair Salon and The Tanning Studio. She was once named as one of the top 100 business woman in the State of Arkansas by then Governor Bill Clinton. Margaret was an amazing, selfless, kind, strong, bright, loyal, supportive, resourceful, generous, Christian, loving, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She always put the needs of others before her own. During the holidays, her home was always open to not only her family and friends, but also to anyone else who had no other place to celebrate the holidays. On any given Thanksgiving or Christmas, she often fed as many as fifty or more people and always had "extra" gifts ready for all guests.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; Jarvis Pyron and Velma Cunningham Pyron, her husband; Charles P. Bussey Jr., son; David Bussey, grandson; Steven Bussey and brother; Henry Pyron.
She is survived by two sons; Dennis Bussey and Darryl Bussey, three brothers; Bill Pyron, Roney Pyron and Dwayne Pyron, sisters-in-law; Betty Pyron, Geneva Pyron Goad, Dianna Pyron, five grandchildren; Vicky Bussey Cooper, Chuck Bussey, Jonathan "Johnny" Bussey, Mecca Bussey Murrah, and Nicholas "Nick" Bussey and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Perry's Funeral Chapels.
Graveside services will be at 2p.m. Monday at Arlington Cemetery with Bro. Bob Inmon officiating under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
