Obituary
Margaret H. Hodge, 83, of Smackover passed away March 4, 2017 at the Medical Center of South Arkanas.
Margaret was born November 29, 1933 to Walter Slaughter and Corrine Bates Frisby. She was a loving mother and grandmother. You never saw her without a smile on her face.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Earnest Claude Hodge; two sisters, Emma Faye Meadows and Lucy V. Bates.
Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Mary Jarrell and Helen Fitzgerald; six grandchildren, Earnest J. Jarrell, Margaret Johnson, Rachel Lambert (Scott), Margie Snow (Tony), Donna Fitzgerald and Donald "ET" Thurmon; ten great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Perry's Funeral Chapels from 6 - 8pm, Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Services will be at 10am Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Perry's Funeral Chapels with interment at Arlington Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Ross, Robbie Snow, Earnest Thurmon, Scott Lambert, Earnest Jarrell and Joel Gonzalez.
The family will be at 810 Marrable Hill, El Dorado, AR.
