Margaret Annette (Mimi) Dumas,86, of El Dorado, AR passed on May 24,2022 at Courtyard Nursing Home. She was born on June 5, 1936 in Ripley, AL. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Christine Baucom; father, Raymond Daniel Baucom; husband, Leonard Dumas; sister, Shirley Fortner; and bonus sister/friend; Lana Sweaney. She leaves behind her sister, Raymia Knestrict; daughter, Anne Tygart, sons; David Tygart, Mike (Janell) Tygart; bonus children, Dale Dumas, Johnny Dumas, Randy Dumas and Tammy Oxner; grandchildren, Ryan Hudson, Brandi (Jeff) Walthall, Brooke (Elliot) Adams, Megan Tygart, Josh (Toccara) Melvin, James (Tina) Melvin, Cassey Simmons, Taylor Molnaird, Tiffany Goodrich, Jeremey Dumas, Jason Dumas and Wesley Dumas. She had over 20 great and great great-grandchildren
She was a long-time member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR. She worked for many years at Walmart in El Dorado, AR, where she retired from. Her passions in life included butterflies (anyone that knew Mimi knew this) she always had a butterfly pin on her shoulder, but above all was spending time and taking care of her large family that she was so proud of.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Private Graveside will be held.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Courtyard Nursing Home for their love and care of Mimi.
