Obituary
Marie Womack 80 of Strong passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Marie was born June 27, 1933 to Dock and Clara Burns.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn Womack Sr., two sons; G.W. Womack Jr. and Gene Womack, brother George Burns and sister Opal Burns Black.
Survivors include a son; Billie Womack (Robin) of Huttig, two daughters Helen Womack Massey(Alvin) of Strong and Carlynn Marcus (Bill) of Rocky Branch, LA. 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the John R. Williamson House and especially Avestine Adams, Felicia Cheatham and Helen Young for their compassionate caring
Marie lived a happy and active life. She enjoyed watching tv and working crossword puzzles. She loved feeding and watching birds, but most of all she loved family visits and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at Perry's Funeral Chapels El Dorado with Rev. Rickey Smith officiating with burial to follow at Strong Cemetery.
