Martha Anderson King Little, 97 of Strong passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Martha was born November 29, 1919 to the late Katie Duke Anderson and John A. Anderson of Strong, She was a lifetime residence of Union County. A homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Martha's primary interest of service the last few years was the Jones Lake Road Trail of Lights and to her church. She contributed to many Christian missions. When Martha was young, she and her sisters were known for great basketball playing as The Anderson Sisters.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Charlie Weldon King; her second husband, Raymond Little; Brothers, George H. Anderson, Dallas A. Anderson, John Hermon Anderson; Sisters, Doris Olivia McGraw, Lavena Phillips, Jessie King Vorhease, Nona Ruth Adams, Omega Leonard; Son, Weldon Eddie King; grandson, Scott Keith King.
Survivors include Daughter: Joyce King Jacobs (A.R.) of El Dorado, AR; brother, Thomas Murphy Anderson (Phyllis) of Kansas City, MO; four Grandchildren; eleven Great-Grandchildren; five Great Great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held from5 - 7pm Thursday, February 9 at Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado..
Graveside service will be held at 10am Friday, February 10 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
