Martha Lois Welch, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend to many others. Lois Welch, 85 of Hot Springs and formerly of El Dorado died on December 26, 2015 surround by her family. She was born on November 9, 1930, to the late Tom and Jessie Lee, in Lisbon, Arkansas.

Lois was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church. She worked for Hertz Rent-A-Car and lovingly raised five children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmor Dee Welch, parents Tom and Jessie Lee, sister Nelda Black, son Raymond Glen Welch, and two grandsons, Ryan Welch and Ret Turner.

Loving survivors include her daughters and son-in-laws, Rosemary Ward, Anne Edwards (Dr. Joe Edwards), Carolyn Boshears (Ron), all of Hot Springs , Arkansas and special nephew, Charles (Corkey) Welch and his family, Catherine, Charles (Katie) and Nikki of Smyrna, Georgia, five grandchildren, Robin Orr, Kevin Edwards, Charlie Edwards, Jessica Ward and Amber Spencer, Cameron Edwards, Anna Gale Edwards, Alysa Jane Orr, Katie Warner and Sebastian Turner.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Quapaw Care Facility and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care of our Mother.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm Tuesday December 29, 2015 at Bethel Cemetery, Mt. Holly, AR with Corkey Welch officiating under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels Pallbearers are, Kevin Edwards, Corkey Welch, Cameron Edwards, Sebastian Turner, Dr. Joe Edwards and Ron Boshears.
