After a lengthy illness Martha Jean Mc Lure Wood, age 71, passed from this world and entered
her eternal home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 28 th, 2009 at
the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, Ar. She was a faithful wife, a loving
mother and a friend to all she met.

She was born on October 14, 1938 in Hamburg , Ar to her parents, T.L. and Early Mc Lure. She
retired from Medical Center of South Arkansas and had previously worked at Jack Winter, Inc.
Junction City La. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in El Dorado, Ar. She
was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters: Marie Breedlove, Francis Smith and Jewell
Wilson, two brothers : Thomas Mc Lure and Daniel Mc Lure.

Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Wood, her brother Fain Mc Lure, three sisters :
Modell Naron, Lucille Burroughs and Virginia Robinson . Three Sons, Mike Harmon and his
wife Robyn of Greenbrier,Ar, Mark Harmon and his wife Vicki of El Dorado, Rick Harmon and
his wife Brandy of Waldo, Ar. Four stepchildren: Debra Hodges and her husband Eddie of Pine
Bluff, Ar, Chris Wood of El Dorado, Ar , Missy Scrivner and her husband Vic of Harwood TX
and Timmy Wood and his wife El izabeth of El Dorado, AR. Fourteen grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren and 2 " adopted " international student grandchildren, and a host of family and
friends.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00pm until 8:00p.m. at Perry's Funeral Chapels and
funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 2:00 pm at First Assembly of God Church at 2225
W. Hillsboro, El Dorado, Ar .Committal will be held at Smyrna Cemetery .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John R. Williamson Life touch Hospice House
El Dorado, Ar or Gideon Bibles.
