Mary Sue Blevins, age 87, passed from this life Friday, November 22, 2024. Sue was born February 10, 1937 in McNeil, AR to the late Jesse and Lois Black.

Sue was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She was member of First Baptist Church of Strong, AR, where she played piano, sang in the choir for over sixty years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of sixty-seven years Gene Blevins; seven siblings Murry Black, Bill Black, Thurston Black, Basil Black, Iris Smith, Catherine Hinton, and Lola Primm.

Those left to cherish her memory include: two daughters Debra DeFee and her husband Dewayne of Strong, AR and Monica McDougald and her husband Dale of Urbana, AR; one son Nathan Blevins and his wife Amy of Strong, AR; six grandchildren Jake DeFee, Matthew DeFee, Nicholas McDougald, Christopher McDougald, Conner Blevins, and Caitlon Huggins; three great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services in her honor will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 25, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Strong, AR, Rev. Scotty Guillot officiating, internment following at Teel Cemetery in Strong, AR. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of service at the church.
