Mary Beth Helm McCleskey 94 of Junction City passed away April 3, 2014 after a long illness in Junction City, La. at her son's home.

She was born in Wesson, Ar. July 8, 1919 to Will and Mattie Sandifer Helm. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. She was employed with Kroger as a checker for 29 years and retired. Mary loved to crochet, cook and travel with her son. She was an avid gardener and only stopped two years ago.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Orby McCleskey, her son Craig McCleskey and two grandsons Mark and Todd Tucker.

Mary is survived by her two sons Jim McCleskey of Junction City, La., Bud McCleskey of Camden, Ar., two daughters Martha Tucker& husband Jim Tucker of East Junction City La., Betty Harris & husband Cotton Harris of Hope, Ar., grandchildren Debra Stroderd & husband Damian of Hope , Ar., Nickolas McCleskey & wife of El Dorado, Ar., Kimberly Pharr & husband P.J of Camden, Ar., Mary Moreau of Tyler, Tx., Amiee McCleskey of Tx., Chris McCleskey & wife of Searcy, Ar., Cynthia Sandifer & husband of Homer, La., Edith McCleskey of Tx., several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday April 5, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church on Haynesville Highway. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
