Obituary

Mary Lou Walker, 87, of Calion passed away peacefully in her home on October 9, 2019.

Visitation will be at 1:00PM Friday October 11, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Calion.

Funeral services will held at 2:00PM Friday October 11, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Calion. Mary Lou's Grandson, Pastor Blake Harrell, of Living Truth Church of Mayflower officiating. Interment will be at Champagnolle Cemetery following funeral services. Arrangements are by Perry's Funeral Home.

Mary Lou was born in Lawson Arkansas to Lena Frisby and John Milton Hudson on January 25, 1932. She was a graduate of Union High School. She married Robert D. Walker on March 18, 1952 in Junction City Arkansas. Mary Lou was a stay at home mother, homemaker, sold Avon for 27 years, and ran Evan's Superette in Calion with her sister Sue. She was a member of the Calion City Council for a number of years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael Lynn Walker, and her husband of 64 years Robert D. Walker.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Walker of Calion, Lynn Walker (Allese) of Calion, two daughters, Marsha Long (Paul) of Norphlet, and Suzanne Harrell (Mark) of Mayflower. Eight Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren, and Two Great-Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials to be given to First Baptist Church of Calion at P.O. Box 338 Calion, AR 71724.
