Maxine Weaver Littlejohn 87 of Smackover passed away Saturday March 28, 2015 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born in Crane, Texas on December 13, 1927 to George Marion Copeland and Elsie Spurlin Copeland Murphy who preceded her. Also preceding her was her step-father; Ellis Murphy, her husband; A.Z. Weaver who they owned and operated Weavers Grocery for many years before his passing, her second husband; Harry Littlejohn and a daughter-in-law; Cathryn Weaver.

Maxine enjoyed sitting on her porchswing feeding the birds. She also loved dogs. She enjoyed gardening but was happiest when she was surrounding by hers 3 sons and their families. She was a member of Sandyland Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her 3 sons; Ronny Weaver (Marsha) of Crossett, Gerald W.Weaver, Larry R. Weaver (Debbie), brother; John Murphy all of Sandyland, 6 grandchildren; Kenny Weaver (Daisy), Steven Weaver (Stephanie), Kimberly (Neal) , Cheryl (Robert), Carrie Jackson (John) , Lori Sandberg (Jon), great grandchildren; Dylon Weaver, Kagan Weaver, Leah Weaver, Matthew Fear, Madison Fear, Chloe Kelley, Carly Kelley, Catie Kelley, Tyler Havard, Brayden Weaver and Tristen Sandberg.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm today at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Graveside servies will be held at Smackover Cemetery at 10am on Tuesday March 31, 2015 with David Preston officiating.
