Michael Talley, age 65, passed from this life Thursday, September 4, 2025. Michael was born August 21, 1960 in El Dorado, AR to the late Ray Talley and Carolynn Durio.

Michael Talley, a man whose life was filled with music, determination, and an unshakable love for his family, passed away leaving behind countless cherished memories.

In his younger years, Michael excelled in football, coming close to reaching the NFL. His passion for music also brought him success, as he played drums in a band and nearly made it big in the industry. A gifted musician, he could play nearly anything he put his hands on—drums, horns, guitar, piano, and more. Though opportunities might have taken him far, Michael chose to come back home and dedicate his life to what mattered most—his family.

Michael later built a steady career as a truck driver with Delek, where his hard work and reliability were admired by many. A lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks, he never missed a chance to cheer on his teams.

Beyond his talents and accomplishments, Michael's greatest joy was being a husband, father, and family man. Each year, he made it a priority to take his family on vacation to the beach, where he could enjoy the ocean he so deeply loved. Those trips, along with countless everyday moments, became treasured memories that his loved ones will hold forever.

Michael will be remembered as a man of many talents, but above all as someone whose heart belonged to his family. His love, laughter, and legacy will live on in those who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife of eight years Hang "Moon" Talley; four sons Derek Talley, Tyler Talley (Rebecca), Gage Talley, and Tommy Talley; one daughter Tina Tran; two brothers Mitchell Talley (Chandra), and Mark Talley; one sister Kelley Talley, Alois Talley, and Hellen Talley; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

The family invites the community to a time of visitation at 10:00 AM Monday, September 8, 2025 at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR.
