Obituary
Millie "Olga " Fife, 92, of Louann, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, 9-11-09, at her home of
61 years after a fight against heart disease and a blood disorder. She was born in Hampton on
August 6, 1917 to Tommy and Pirl Vines Holmes.
Mrs. Fife worked at the International Paper Mill Company, Bag Pak division, in Camden for 33
years. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, an excellant cook, and an aide to any person
in need. Mrs. Fife began her service to the city of Louann as recorder. She served as a member of
the Louann City Council. For more than 40 years.
She was a devoted supporter of Cornerstone Church in Smackover and knew Our Lord, Jesus
Christ, as her personal Savior for many years. She spent a lifetime serving others so that the love
of Christ might be passed on for generations to come.
Mrs. Fife is survived by her husband of 62 years , Roy, of Louann; her daughter Marilyn
Frachiseur of Louann; her son Tommy Fife and his wife, Deborah Riggs Fife, of Camden; two
grandsons, Kelly Franchiseur of Rogers; Ken Frachiseur of Clearwater Florida; two
granddaughters, Millie Eubanks and husband William (Bubba) Eubanks of Water Valley,
Mississippi; Mollie Willett and Husband Keith Willett of Smackover; six great -grandchildren,
Will, Megan, and Millie Grace Eubanks and Mason, Karli and Eli Willett. She is also survived
by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Pirl Vines Holmes; two brothers, Thomas
Terrell Holmes and Joe B. Holmes, and son -in-law Paul Frachiseur.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Wednesday, the 16th day of September, at Perry's Funeral Chapels in
El Dorado. The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, the 17th day of September at
Cornerstone Church on Mt. Holly St. in Smackover. She will be laid to rest at the Smackover
Cemetery. Bro Danny Malone and Bro. Raymon Carneal will be officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the building fund at Cornerstone Church, P.O. Box 511, Smackover, AR, or Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR
