Obituary

Murrell Templeton Bryan, 91, of El Dorado left this life on Friday February 6, 2009 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born December 19, 1917 in Union County and is the daughter of the late Jesse Samuel Templeton and Grace Brazeal. She was a homemaker and a member of Murmil Heights Baptist Church. She was a charter member of Immanuel Baptist Church and an accomplished pianist and a private piano teacher. She was the choir director and pianist at Temple Baptist Church for many years, also teaching Sunday School and Bible studies. In later years her favorite pastime was knitting and crocheting.

Preceeding her in death is her parents, husband M. Ray Bryan, and a sister Mildred Nash

She is survived by a sister LaVerne Templeton Carr of El Dorado, and a daughter Cynthia Ann Bryan Sandifer of Ruston, Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 1:30pm to 2:30pm on Sunday February 8, 2009 with funeral services starting at 3:00pm at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Rev. Billy Smith will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Johnny Bryan, A.J. Shirey, Wayne Harper, Fred Futch, Gorden Strickland, and Greg Hurst. Serving as Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Ham. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
