Nell Echols 85 of El Dorado died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Oak Ridge Nursing Home.
She was born May 6, 1927 to Jim Tom and Ada Elizabeth Coke.

Nell was a homemaker and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids who will miss her dearly.

Nell is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jimmie D. Echols, daughter Paula Simpson, son Tony Echols, brothers; Elmer Coke, Holton Coke, Arzo Coke, Ellis Coke, Calvin Coke and infant brother John Thomas Coke, sisters; Lillian Coke, Gladys Dufresne, Evelyna Hodges, Lovie Goley and a grandson David Simpson.

Survivors include Sons Jimmy Echols, Ray Echols and Billy Echols, daughters; Elaine Nipper (Johnny), Gladys Grimh (Scott), Cindy Lee, a son n law James Simpson, a brother Paul Coke , Sister Dean McClesky, grandchildren; Shannon Sweet, Jamie Davis, Stanley Nipper, Tommy Nipper, Angela Hansen, Karrie Glaspie, Sherrie Nipper, Misty Echols, Jordan Mathews, Keely Echols, Jeana Hooper, Rachell Grimh, Christa Grimh, Ashley Johnson, Emily Johnson and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Urbana.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday February 4, 2013 at the church under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels, with Michael Anderson officiating, burial to follow at Rehobeth Cemetery.
