Norma Ruth Shrewsbury, age 86, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Norma was
born June 12, 1938 in Lake Village, AR to the late Willie Dee and Eva Lum Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-two years Richard "Hot Rod" Shrewsbury;
three brothers Jackie Johnson, Jerry Johnson, and Maxwell Johnson; and one sister Hilda Orren.
Those left to cherish her memory include: two daughters Amy Welch and her husband Tommy, and Kim
Gutierrez and her husband Carlos; two sons Chuck Shrewsbury and his wife Paula, and Deano
Shrewsbury and his wife Jennifer; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister June Spears; as
well as a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside service in her honor will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Strong
Cemetery, Pastor Terry Burke officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM Wednesday,
February 5, 2025 at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR.
