Oran Clifford Booth, age 79, of Parkers Chapel, AR passed to his heavenly Home on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. Cliff was born in Winnfield, LA on November 15, 1939, the second of five children to the late Oran Chester and Mary Ruth Baker Booth. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1961 aboard the USS Terrebonne Parish and in the Navy Reserves from 1961-1963. Through his life, he lived and worked throughout Louisiana and Arkansas, working many years for the Union County Maintenance Shop before his retirement. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, particularly with his family.

Cliff accepted the Lord Jesus at an early age and was baptized in the Baptist church. Hit by a car when 6 years old and in a coma for days, he later often told of ascending in the light to Heaven with the angels but Jesus wasn't ready for him and he was returned to his earthly home. He always had faith he'd return to Heaven with Jesus when his time was done.

Survivors include his sons, Cody Booth of Parkers Chapel and Oran C. Booth, Jr. of Bremerton, WA; sisters, Betty and husband Dean Karns of Jefferson, TX and Carol and husband Robert McKinnon of Parkers Chapel; brothers, Wes Booth of Parkers Chapel and Alan and wife Cindy Booth of Dodge City, AR; grandchildren, (who he loved dearly): Malia, Hunter and Stephen Booth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held at a later date with his parents and many generations of the Booth family in Providence Cemetery in Jacksonville, TX.
