Gene Jones, of El Dorado, Arkansas, passed away on December 20th, surrounded by the love
of his family.
Born on June 28th 1946 Gene lived a life grounded in hard work, loyalty, and quiet strength. A
proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he carried honor and humility with him long after
his service. He was a faithful member of Northwest Baptist Church . He was also a member of
the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He was a great mechanic — the one everyone called when something needed fixing — and he
never hesitated to help.
Gene loved motorcycles, time spent with family, and settling in to watch a good cowboy show —
especially those old Westerns that reminded him of simpler times.
He was married to the love of his life, Deena, for 58 years and together they built a home filled
with love, laughter, and devotion. They traveled all over the United States, from California to the
Florida Keys on their motorcycle.
He is survived by his daughters, Dana Keaster (Kenny), and Ally Duke (Sye) along with
grandchildren , Michael , Morgan,Hunter, Jordan , Drake, Merle, Aren , Ronnie, Tiffanie, and 12
great grandkids ,all who adored him and will carry his memory forward.
He was preceded in death by his parents his 2 brothers, his daughter, Penny, and
granddaughter, Brittanie, whom he now joins in heaven.
Gene will be remembered for his steady presence, his humor, his love for the open road, and
the way he could fix almost anything. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held on January 11th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Northwest Baptist
Church. the family encourages you to share a story, take a ride, or watch an old Western in his
honor — and hold your loved ones close.
He is forever loved.
