Ouida Kathryn Mann Richey, 79, of El Dorado, AR passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at her home surrounded by family after a lengthy battle with breast cancer.  She was born February 7, 1944 in Monticello, AR to the late G. C. Mann and Dorothy (Peters) Mann.

Ouida was a 1962 graduate of Coosa High, GA. She became a resident of El Dorado in 1965 when she accepted a position with the USDA, Farmers Home Administration. In 1981, she started her employment with Ensco (Clean Harbors) until her retirement in 2000.  Ouida was an active member of the SIGHT program, a support group for the visually impaired.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Caledonia Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 31 years W.L. "Rick" Richey, one sister Linda Sue Mann; one son Todd Richey; and half-brother Jerry Mann.

Those left to cherish her memory include:  her son David Richey (Lori) of Benton, AR; daughter Kimberly Richey of El Dorado, AR; three grandchildren Hannah Richey, Tyler Erpenbach and Kori Erpenbach; two brothers Larry Mann (Gayla) of Little Rock and Charles Mann of Tulsa, OK; two half-sisters Pat Guyer of Pensacola, FL and Esther Travis of Foley, AL; brother-in-law Jimmy Richey of Wilmer, TX; and step-son Charles White of Plant City, FL; cousins, nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Perry's Funeral Chapel, Pastor Alan Ellen officiating, interment following at Arlington Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held from 5-8:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2024, at the funeral home. After the service friends and family are invited to the family home.
