Obituary
Patricia Caldwell McMahen, 70, of Wesson, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009, at the
Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Born August 24, 1938, in El Dorado to Dalton Sexton Davis and Evelyn Douglas Davis, she was
a lifelong resident of the Wesson-Junction City area. Pat was the owner / operator of Frank's
Grocery in Macedonia; worked as office secretary at Hillsboro Manor Nursing Home until
receiving her Arkansas Nursing Home Administrator license and later served as administrator of
Junction City Nursing Home from 1978 - 1981. She was administrator of East Manor Nursing
Center from 1981 until 1985. She was a member of Wesson Baptist Church.
Her parents and brother, Barnett Davis, preceded in death.
Survivors include her husband, Terry McMahen; two sons, Mike Caldwell and Mark McWhirter;
two grandsons, Joshua Caldwell of South Korea and Jeremiah Caldwell of Junction City; and
three great-grandsons.
A graveside service at Wesson Cemetery will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, May 26, 2009, with
Rev. Dale Shirey officiating and under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
