Patsy Massey, age 82, of Strong, AR passed from this life Friday, February 23, 2024, surrounded by family.

Patsy was born January 25, 1942 in Marthaville, LA to the late Louis and Willie Mae Gorcee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of fifty-six years Tommy Cecil Massey; and one daughter Eunice Christina "Sissy" Massy; one sister Lee Osborne; and one brother Emit Gorcee.

Those left to cherish her memory include: three sons Bruce "Bo" Massey of Strong, AR, Timmy Massey and his wife Kelly of Strong, AR, Jimmy David Austin of Jersey, AR; three daughters Charlotte Mitcham and her husband David of Moro Bay, AR, Shelia Rogers and her husband Tony of Strong, AR, Betty Ann Williams and her husband Hank Sr. of Huttig, AR; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service in her honor will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February, 28, 2024 at Green Grove Cemetery in Strong, AR. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the family home (3387 Pigeon Hill Rd, Strong, AR 71765).
