Patty Earlene Skinner Galbraith, 76, of El Dorado left this life on Wednesday March 18, 2009 at
the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born in McCaskill, Arkansas on October 19,
1932 and is the daughter of Howard O. Skinner and Carrie Lee Bradley. She was a dietician with
the Medical Center of South Arkansas before retireing. She was of the Methodist Faith and a life-long member of Parkers Chapel Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David F Galbraith Sr., one grandson
Jeffery L. Cottrell, and most recently her brother Millard Skinner.
Survivors include a son David F. Galbraith Jr. of Parkers Chapel, three daughters; Libby Cottrell
of El Dorado, Janis Moss ( Steve) of Parkers Chapel, and Jackie Kassler ( Keith) of Scott,
Arkansas, sister; Jean Wolfe ( Bill) of El Dorado, two sister-in-laws Joy Skinner of Parkers
Chapel and Mamie Galbraith Gorman of Texas, grandchildren; Jennifer Cottrell Hilburn
(Chuck), Wade Cottrell, Wesley Moss, Brad Moss ( Terri), Mikey Moss, James Platt, Amanda
Platt, Heather Telford ( Joe), David F. Galbraith III (Valarie), Amber Rogers ( Keith), Rachel
Galbraith, Marley Lawson (Wes) and 11 great grandchildren.
Chapel services will be held at Perry's Funeral Chapels at 10:am on Saturday March 21, 2009
with son-in-law, Brother Steve Moss officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Primative
Cemetery near Calion. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons Visitation will be from
6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday March 20, 2009 at the funeral home. The family will also receive
friends from 10:00am to 5:00pm Friday at Bethel Chapel Family Life Center, 1832 Parkers
Chapel Rd.
