Obituary
Paul J. Newman, 86 of El Dorado passed away Wednesday, April 1 2015.
He was born May 22, 1928 to Roger and Lucy Smith Newman in Heard County, GA.
Paul was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He worked in the oilfield in his younger years and was an operator for over 25 years at Cooper Tire. He enjoyed watching the dirt track car races and gardening but most of all he loved his son and family.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents; wife Rada Newman, brothers Walter Newman and C.B. Newman, sisters; Ruby Clyde Marchman, Jewell Huffman, Mary Turner, Nina Folds, Irene Lane, Hazel Marchman and an infant sister.
Paul is survived by his son Roger Newman of E; Dorado and sister Myrtle Wilbur from Newnan, Ga. And numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Perry's Funeral Chapels.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Pelz officiating with burial to follow at Burns-Ebenezer cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels .
Memorials may be made to UCAPS.
