Obituary
Paul J. West, 61 of El Dorado passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado.
He was born December 21, 1953 in Little Rock, AR to Ralph and Estelle McGaugh West.
He graduated high school at McCelland High School in Little Rock. Served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era, worked most of his life in construction around many cities. He was a kind and generous person who wanted to help others and will be missed by his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Florence Glenn McGaugh, Calvin and Ruth Ward West, his father Ralph West, wife Shirley Loyd West, son Tyler West and daughter Brandy West.
He is survived by his mother Estelle Baggett, step-father Gene Baggett, one son Jeffery West, one daughter Amber West, two granddaughters Hope West and Kelsey West, two grandsons Arik Nelson and Mason McClure.
Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2015 at 10am at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Graveside service will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens at 11am.
In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Harmony Baptist Church and St. Marks United Methodist Church both in El Dorado.
