Peggy Gene Taylor-Talley, age 89, of Lawson passed from this life Thursday, October 19, 2023, peacefully at her son's home.  She was born November 2, 1933 in Smackover, AR to the late J. E. and Beatrice Taylor.

She was a member of Lawson Baptist Church. She loved to paint and work her crossword puzzles. She loved shrimp and sharing stories she had heard from the past. She was plain spoken and was hilarious to be around.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers Gerald Taylor and Curtis "Bubba" Wayne Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memory include: one son Kevin Talley and his wife Robbin of El Dorado, AR; two grandchildren Nikki Talley and her spouse Brianna of El Dorado, AR, and Andrew Talley of El Dorado, AR; one brother Eddie Taylor and his wife Arlene of El Dorado, AR

A gathering of friends to celebrate the life of Peggy Talley will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, October, 20, 2023 at Perry's Funeral Chapel.
