Phillip Wade Smith Sr., 71, of El Dorado went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Timberlane Health & Rehabilitation. He was born in El Dorado on February 1, 1951 to the late Nile and Oleta Hooks Smith. In June 1976 Phillip and friend, Eddie Webb opened El Dorado Custom Floors and Carpet.  He loved fishing, hunting and caring for his fur baby, Tootsie.

Preceding him in death were his parents and son, Phillip Wade Smith Jr.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Brenda Barton; brother, Eddie Smith (Rhonda); sons, Zach Smith (Lindsey) and Jason Miller (Heather); daughters, Nalley Smith and Jennifer Sexton (Kelly); grandchildren; Eli Smith, Mary Kate Smith, Olivia Smith, Abigail Smith, Dylan Sexton, J.P. Miller Jr., Zachary Miller, and Whatley Miller; long-time business partner and friend, Eddie Webb; and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:00 PM on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Funeral Services beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at Craig Cemetery under the Direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Team Korie Foundation, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or UCAPS.
