Rastus Fore, 92, of Strong, AR passed away Thursday November 12 at Life Touch Hospice.
Born November 19, 1922 to Owen and Versie Mae Lum Fore. He was in the United States Army where he was stationed in England, served on front lines in World War II. He worked in all phases of the oil fields. After that he was self-employed as owner/operator of Fore Water Well Drilling Company. He loved to ride his four wheeler, fish, play his Harmonica, coon trapping, camping with his family and most of all he loved Turkey hunting. He was the oldest member of Green Groves Chapels in Strong, AR.
Preceded in death were his parents, one brother: Billy Fore, two nieces and two nephews.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 74 years, Amay Fore, two daughters: Virginia Risinger (Frankie) and Linda Pridgen (Carl), one grandson: Keith Pridgen, three grand-daughters Renita Thomas (Michael), Sandy Agerton (Jerry) and Amy Thomason (Chris) seven great-grandchildren, Summer Andrews, Storey Bradford, Lauren Hodge, Hannah Bailiff, Jay Agerton, Kaili Pridgen and Russell Pridgen; seven great great grandchildren: Ethan Harvey, Kenadee Harvey, Ada Andrews, Hunter Bradford, Hank Bradford, Reed Agerton and Emersyn Hodge; one sister Floyce Price: one nephew Ronnie Price and a special friend, James Carroll Frisby.
Visitation will be 1pm Sunday November 15 at Green Grove Chapel. Immediately following visitation, services will start at 2:30pm also at Green Grove Chapel with Bro. Gerald Hicks and Bro. Rick Smith officiating. Interment at Green Grove Cemetery under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
