Remona L. Jones Johnston, 57, of El Dorado passed away on June 21, 2015 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Ar.

Remona was of the Baptist faith. Her hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and sewing.   She was a 1976 graduate of Norphlet High School.

She was born on April 5, 1958 to Bobby Jones and Linda Jean Wilson Elliott of Norphlet.

Preceded in death were her mother, material grandparents, Horace A. Wilson and Marie Wilson of Norphlet , paternal grandparents T.C. and Minnie Mae Spells and her uncle, Hugh A. Wison of El Dorado.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Don Johnston, six sisters, Cheryl Champlin of Houston, Tx, Frankie Roncancio of Sugarland, Tx, Cindy Brown of Marion, AR, Melissa Coursen of Hermitage, Ar, Valerie Oliver of Hermitage, Ar, and Marie Taylor of Norphlet, Ar.   Six grandchildren, Gunner Johnston of Hampton, Cash Johnston of Hampton, Katie Rae of Oklahoma, Madison Thigpen of El Dorado, Dalton Gosvenor of El Dorado and Kiersten Gosvenor of El Dorado. One uncle, Danny C. Wilson of Texarkana and one aunt Wanda Spells. Eight nephew, five Nieces, two Great Nephews and two great Nieces.

Visitation will be held Tuesday June 23 from 6-8 pm at Perrys Funeral Chapels. Services will be held Wednesday June 24 at 11am at Perrys Funeral Chapels  with graveside service following at Moss Hill Cemetery in Bearden, Ar.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for funeral expenses.
