Rhonda Lynn Barnette, 60, of El Dorado passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at her residence. She was born on November 29, 1958 in El Dorado to Hallie Cortez Barnette and Melba McBroom Hartsell.

Rhonda retired from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Her pride and joy was her two cats, Solomon and Cillia.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Daniel Gamble.

Survivors include her step-mother, Robbie Barnette; sister, Melinda Thurlkill; step-brothers, Charles Hartsell, William Johnson and Travis Johnson; longtime friend, John Rick Kyle; nephew, Christopher Drummond; and niece, April Drummond.

A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Rhodes Chapel Cemetery officiated by Bro. Terry Smith under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
