Ricky Goode 55 passed away Monday February 2,2026. He was born September 4,1970 to Willie Goode and Dorothy Bishop Haney in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Ricky was the pitcher for the California Angels in his youth and shared his love of the game with our local youth by actively participating in The Boys and Girls Club as a coach and as an umpire. A true sports enthusiast, he cheered for the Arkansas Razorbacks, and the Dallas Cowboys. He will be remembered for his love for his family, especially his grandchildren. Ricky was known to be a good friend who never hesitated to help anyone in need.

Preceding him in death are his father and his sister Lisa Goode.

Surviving him are his sons Dustin Goode (Summer) of St. Charles, Louisiana and Drew Goode (Elli) of El Dorado, Arkansas, his brother Wayne Goode (Sophia) of El Dorado, Sister Jo Ann Nipper (Stan) of El Dorado, brother Michael Goode of El Dorado and his sister Melissa Goode of Brady Texas. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Spencer, Harrison, Riley, Temperance and Calliope, his nieces and nephews Hailey Goode, Kenzie Goode, Corey Goode, Olivia Garner, Mickey Goode and Donavan Armaderius, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held 10:00 am Saturday, February 7th,2026 at Pentecostals of El Dorado Church. Cremation services provided by Perry's Funeral Chapel of El Dorado, Arkansas. An online registry can be signed at www.perrysfuneralchapel.com.
