Ronald Edward Gilmore, age 75, of Parkers Chapel, AR passed from this life Sunday, October 13, 2024. Ronald was born April 1, 1949 in Emeryville, CA to the late Homer and Iris Gilmore.

Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and studying history. Moreover, he had an in-depth knowledge of the Word of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Carol Gilmore; and one son Ronald Gene Gilmore.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his loving wife of fifty-four years Susie Gray Gilmore; one son Shaun Gilmore and his wife Heather of Parkers Chapel, AR; four grandchildren Delaney Gilmore, Anniston Gilmore, Collins Gilmore all of Parkers Chapel, AR, and Cameron Gilmore of Cheyenne, WY; three brothers Mike Chappell, Tommy Ray, and Billy Ray; one sister Caroline Maehren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services in his honor will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR, Pastor Myran Ford officiating, internment following at New London Cemetery in Strong, AR. A time of visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the funeral home.
