Ruth Marie Smith passed from this life Wednesday, April 26, 2023. She was born September 10, 1950 in Springfield, MO to the late Benjamin and Catherine Farmer, and raised by her grandparents Benjamin and Mary Jane Farmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; one grand-daughter Hillary Smith; and eight siblings Gene, Jerry, Larry, Debbie, Diane, Linda, and Randy.

Those left to cherish her memory include: one daughter Alanna Berthelot; two sons John Fargis, and Jack Smith; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, two siblings Billy Farmer and Kathy Eason; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at El Dorado First Assembly, interment following at Strong Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00am until time of service at the church.
