Ryan Eugene Burns, 14, died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
He was born February 5, 2004 in El Dorado, AR. to Brian Eugene Burns and Shantel Stacy Burns. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of El Dorado. Ryan had a passion for the Lord and golf. He participated in KidsNGolf program. He enjoyed volunteering at the golf camps and helping other kids improve their game. He had a goal of becoming a professional golfer. He enjoyed collecting knives. He also enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. Being outdoors is where he was the most comfortable. His time outside mowing and spending time with his papaw was enjoyable to him. Some of his favorite times were teeing up with his dad and friends on the weekends. He enjoyed spending time outside with his friends.
He was proceeded in death by Elizabeth A. Murry, mamaw, and Teresa Murry, step-grandmother.
He is survived in death by his father and mother, Brian Burns and Shantel Burns, one sister Destiny Burns, Grandparents, Gene Burns (Julia), Diane Brumley (Mike), Benny Murry Sr. , Four uncles, Roger Burns, Kevin Burns (Beth), Benny Murry Jr. (Rhonda), Ashley Murry (Renee), Great Uncle Robert Burns (Paula), Great Aunts Rita Ward (Bennie), Leasha Smith (Billy Ray), Mary Helen Burgess (Fred), Linda Gulledge (Ronnie), numerous cousins and friends and buddies, bros, dudes, KidNGolf family, Haunt family, football family, and his special friend Hope Walthall.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Faron Rogers and Bro. Jimmy Meek. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
