Sam L. Fife, 79, of Strong passed away on December 31, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. He was born in Strong, AR on November 16, 1946 to the late Thad Fife and Susie "Cordie Agerton Fife.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia Hickey Fife; son, Thomas Fife; and grandson, Daniel Fife; brothers, James Fife, Jewel Fife, and Bill Fife; and sisters, Sue Fife and Katie Perry.  Survivors include sons, Jeff Fife and Michael Fife (Heather); grandchildren, John David Fife, Josh Fife (Brooke), Chase Fife, and Aubrey Dopson (Lucy); great-grandchildren, Pressley Ann Fife, Grady Fife, Maverick Dopson, Josie Dopson, Michael Osgood and Colton Osgood.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Cremation Services provided by Perry's Funeral Chapels.
