Sandra Kay Faulkner Etter, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on September 25, 1948, Sandra lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family.

She is survived by her husband, James Etter; her son, Anthony Mims, and his wife, Deena Mims; her daughter, Jolie King, and her husband, Jeffery King; and her sister, Dianne Hampton. Sandra also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Lance Barnett, Lacy Franks, Autumn King, and Forrest Mims, who were the light of her life.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Maxine Faulkner, and her brother, Tommy Faulkner.

Sandra's generosity, infectious sense of humor, and boundless compassion were known to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a passion for life that shone through in her many interests, including cooking, camping, genealogy, gardening, and fishing. These pursuits brought her joy and created countless treasured memories with her loved ones.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Arlington Memorial Cemetery. Friends and family are warmly invited to attend, share memories, and celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to UCAPS (Union County Animal Protection Society) in Sandra's memory.

Sandra will forever be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and the lasting impact she made on everyone she met. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and comfort those who were fortunate to know her.
