Sharon White Ingram, age 71, of Strong, AR passed from this life Saturday, May 11, 2024 in Little Rock surrounded by family. Sharon was born November 24, 1952 in Monticello, AR to Corbit and Betty White.
Sharon was a member of Jack Mayfeild Methodist Church in Huttig, AR. She practiced Nursing for over 30 years. Mrs. Ingram had a passion for caring for animals, and never turned away a stray. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and devoted the last many years to caring for her aging mother. Her daughter Hope recalled that she loved watching Gunsmoke and shopping. Sharon was a compassionate and caring soul and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father Corbit White, and one brother Dr. Louis White.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her mother Betty White of Strong, AR, her loving husband Billy Ingram; four daughters Merrie Atwell, Faith Ingram, Hope Ingram, and Alaine Shamp and her husband Joey; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services in her honor will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Jack Mayfeild Methodist Church in Huttig, AR, Pastor Robert Ballard officiating, internment following at Sweet Home Cemetery in Strong, AR. A time of visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2024, at Perry's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR.
