Obituary
Shirley Ann Jerry, 78, of El Dorado died Monday, March 7, 2011 at Timberlane Health & Rehab.
She was born August 25, 1932 in Strong, Arkansas to Hays Frisby and Eva Mae Overstreet Frisby. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She also was a home maker, wife, mother and grandmother.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Franklin Lavelle Jerry, two sisters; Maxine Sapp, and Ann Downey, a granddaughter; Mandy Spriggs.
Shirley is survived by three daughters; Linda Spooner (Jon) of Texas, Carol Robins (Ronnie) of El Dorado, and Sheila Spriggs (Dennis) of El Dorado and eight grandchildren; Elizabeth Atkinson of El Dorado, Joseph Franklin Spooner of Texas, Nedra Sturdivant of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Clay Spriggs of El Dorado, Michelle Key of Texas, Michael Spooner of Texas, Lindsey Colvin of El Dorado , Will Robins of Bryant Arkansas, and Hazel Freeman, who was her roommate and sister at Timberlane. Shirley loved everyone at Timberlane, but especially loved Deborah Jordan, Daffiny Watson, Melissa Poof, and many others too many to list.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 10:00AM at Union Baptist Cemetery with Stephen McGuire officiating. Services are under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels in El Dorado.
Pallbearers will be Ed Downey, Jim Downey, Will Robins, Clay Spriggs, Jason Colvin, Ronnie Robins, and James Sturdivant.
