Obituary
Shirley Ann Johnson, 64, of Strong passed away October 12, 2016 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Shirley was born November 7, 1951 to the late Alvan Lee Patteson and Hazel Ruth Cook Patterson. She was of the Baptist faith, loved to travel the country in support of her husbands job with Local 798 Pipeline. Shirley was a homemaker for her whole life, a devoted wife, mother and sister.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Robert Johnson Jr.; two brothers, Alvin and Eugene Patterson.
Those left to cherish in her memory are her five children, James Vaughn, Stephanie Errington Binford, Delana Errington, Bruce Errington, and Scott Bartel (Jackie); three step-children, Kyle Johnson (Debra), Raymond Johnson (Carrie) and Karla Case (Danny); eight grand-children; six step grand-children; four siblings, Pauline McKinney, Janet Myers, Ralph Patterson and April Stewart; and her step-mother, Carole Patterson.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 14 from 6 - 8pm at the Huttig First Baptist Church.
Services are at 10am Saturday, October 15 also at Huttig First Baptist Church with Bro. Todd Gunter officiating. Interment will be at Teel Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
