Steve L. Brown 58, of El Dorado died Thursday February 5, 2015 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. He was born on November 7, 1956 in Marion, Louisiana. He was a paint contractor and sandblaster by trade. He was self employed for 20 years and later worked for Longs Blow pipe.

He was preceded in death by his father; Willie Lucius Brown, his first wife, Betty Brown, a son Brad Brown and a sister; Barbara J. Brown.

Survivors include his wife Sharlet, his mother; Sybil Brown Smith, grand daughter; Torrie Brown, a sister; Ann McDonough, brothers; W.L. "Dub" Brown (Katie)and Randy Brown and an aunt; Barbara Barker.

Visitation was held from 5-7pm Friday February 6, 2015 at Perry's Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday at Perry's Funeral Chapels with Bro. Don Ossman officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Sehon, Jimmy Russell, Eddie Russell, Bill Stewart, Brian McDonough and Richard McLemore. Burial will be in Harper Springs Cemetery.
