Susan Lynn "Susie" Nelson age 64 of Junction City passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas.  Susie was born on September 7, 1955 in El Dorado to the late Marilyn "Myrt" Blackmon Nelson and William "Bill" Nelson of Junction City.  Susie held a Master's Degree in English, having taught at numerous schools over the years.  She was an extremely smart person and could play almost any type of musical instrument.

Susie was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents, Bill and Myrt Nelson, and her step mother, Rita Peace Nelson.

Susie is survived by her two aunts, Peggy Sue Williams and Patsy Owens, both of Junction City; one uncle, Jerry Blackmon of Junction city along with numerous cousins.

A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.  Susie's remains will be buried next to her parents at Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City.
