Suzy Faye Childers Finch, 84, of El Dorado, passed away on Friday January 30, 2009 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born on September 2, 1924 and is the daughter of George Preston Childers and Lonnie Mae Harbour who preceded her in death. Also preceding her is her husband George Wesley Finch Jr. and a son George "Scooter" Finch.

Suzy retired from Warner Brown Hospital in 1987. She was a nurse at the hospital for many years and previouly taught at the Warner Brown School of Nursing. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

She is survived by her three daughters; Mary Rowland (Tommy) of El Dorado, and their children Emily Rowland of Fayetteville, Amanda Rowland of Little Rock, and Lily Anne Rowland of El Dorado, daughter; Susanna Sisson of Houston, Texas and her children Lauren Wilson (Jerry) and their son Trey of Fort Smith, and Ally Wilcox of Houston, Texas, daughter; Nancy Williams (Billy) of El Dorado, a daughter-in-law; Janet Finch and her children; Eric Finch (Mandy) and their son Andrew of Norphlet, and Angela Green (Daniel) of Little Rock.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday February 2, 2009 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4:00pm til 6:00pm on Sunday February 1, 2009 with Vespers to follow at the church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels. Memorials can be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, or Life Touch Hospice.
