Tewana Ann Gilmore, 73, of El Dorado passed away November 6, 2016 at her residence.

Tewana was born July 16, 1943 to Carl William Armstrong and Ada Elise Sledd Granum.
She was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, a devote Christian. Tewana was one of a kind, a truly special lady who was strong in her beliefs. She would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Those that new her were very blessed and she will be missed greatly.

Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter, Melissa Lee; three brothers, Gale Armstrong, Rural Armstrong and Petey Armstrong.

Those left to cherish in her memory are her husband, Doyle; two daughters, Debbie McPherson, Toney Gilmore (Willis); one son, Carl Gilmore; seven grandchildren, Maranda Benson (Shane), Joshua Fife (Rebecca), Mary Beth Bailey (Rickey), Brandy Sanner (Johnny), Britney Lee, Chad McPherson and Lori Ann Gilmore; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8 from 6 - 8pm at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Services will be held Wednesday, November 9 at 2pm also at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.

There will not be a grave side service.
